Every month, we organize intercultural cooking workshops. We offer a free culinary experience for a smaller number of registered participants, in collaboration with the Public Institute Cene Štupar.

In their premises, we first meet in the classroom, where we present the dishes we will prepare, with some information on cultural and historical background of the dishes. Our association’s volunteers then take on mentorship in the fully equipped professional kitchen of the Institute. Participants help and experience the preparation of traditional Turkish dishes firsthand.



At each workshop, we prepare one savory and one sweet dish. Our volunteers organize the workshop so that the preparation takes a maximum of one and a half hours from start to finish. Then we all sit down at the table, which we also prepared together. Then comes the time to enjoy the delicious treats that are the result of our work, and of course we take time for conversation and intercultural exchange. Traditional Turkish tea is a must at every gathering.
