Ramadan 2026: 1st week ; 19. – 25. February

The first week of Ramadan is behind us. This year as well, we continue our tradition of open iftars. We have already organized them at our Association’s premises, in the homes of our volunteers, at the premises of Socialna akademija and DRPD Novo mesto, and at a nearby farm, where the largest number of invited guests gathered, coming from as many as 18 countries.

We are pleased that our open iftar dinners are so popular, as each year we organize more events and invite a larger number of guests.

Open iftars during the month of Ramadan are an excellent opportunity for intercultural dialogue over delicious food, when at sunset it is time to break the daily fast.

As every year, we are once again organizing smaller iftars in the homes of our volunteers.
We concluded the first week with a large iftar at a nearby farm, where we invited guests from 18 different countries.
