MKD joined a 2-day interfaith camping event honoring the 60th anniversary of Nostra Aetate.

We participated in celebrating the 60th anniversary of Nostra Aetate. MKD went to a two-day interfaith event in Warsaw, Poland. Camping took place between the 8th and 9th of February 2025. Two of our members from Slovenia joined the inspiring discussions, interactive workshops, and scriptural reasoning sessions. There we reflected on the legacy of Nostra Aetate and its call for unity. Organizers invited us to explore themes of fraternity and cooperation, drawing insights from Fratelli Tutti to address today’s global challenges.

Nostra aetate, or the Declaration on the Relation of the Church with Non-Christian Religions, is an official declaration of the Vatican II, an ecumenical council of the Catholic Church. In their task of promoting unity and love among people, the Catholic Church considers above all in this declaration what men have in common and what draws them to fellowship.
