🎶 HUMELODY: Empowering Young Migrants on Human Rights Through Arts, Music, and Sport 🎨🎵
We are thrilled to share our second ERASMUS+ project with you: HUMELODY, a 12-month journey designed to empower young migrants through the universal languages of art, music, and sport. Led by Dunaj Instytut Dialogu, in collaboration with our wonderful partners Drustvo Medkulturni Dialog (Slovenia) and Lernpoint (Austria), this project is all about fostering change and creating future leaders!
🌱 Our Mission
HUMELODY’s goal is simple but powerful: to empower young migrants to become advocates for human rights in their communities. Through creative workshops, sports activities, and music-based events, we help young people develop essential skills like communication, empathy, and teamwork, while also raising awareness about their rights.
We believe that by nurturing these talents, young migrants can find their voice, advocate for themselves, and inspire others. Together, we aim to build a bridge of understanding between local communities and migrants, breaking down barriers and promoting a sense of belonging.
🏆 Project Highlights
Here are some of the exciting initiatives planned throughout the year:
- 3 Keynote Sessions: Educational talks that introduce young migrants to their human rights and how to advocate for them.
- 3 Local Workshops: Creative, community-based sessions combining art, music, and sport to explore diversity and foster collaboration.
- 3 Webinars: Virtual meetings to extend the project’s reach and provide accessible learning opportunities to more youth across Europe.
- Final Results Meetings: Celebratory events showcasing the project’s outcomes and the incredible achievements of our participants!
🎯 Who Are We Focusing On?
The primary target of HUMELODY is youth migrants 🧑‍🤝‍🧑, young people who have migrated or been displaced from their home countries. Through our project, we want to give them the tools and confidence they need to thrive, advocate for their rights, and build strong community connections.
We also aim to empower youth workers and volunteers, who are critical in supporting young migrants. By equipping them with resources and training, we ensure they can continue making a positive impact long after HUMELODY concludes. 🌱📚
🤝 Collaboration is Key
HUMELODY is more than just a project—it’s a collaborative effort. We partner with youth centers, NGOs, and refugee organizations to ensure maximum outreach and impact. This collaboration helps us amplify our message of inclusion and human rights advocacy, contributing to stronger, more resilient communities.
đź“š Tools for Success
As part of the project, we’re excited to create tangible resources, including:
- A website that shares project updates and materials
- A booklet titled Our Rights, Our Future, designed to educate young migrants about their human rights
- Interactive local workshops filled with artistic expression
At Dunaj Instytut Dialogu, we believe that young people are the future, and with HUMELODY, we’re committed to empowering the next generation of leaders. Together, through creativity and collaboration, we can pave the way for a more inclusive and just world.
Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this exciting journey with HUMELODY!
