our first evening of
block printing on fabric
On Monday 28 September 2026 we opened the new Creative Handicrafts series here in Ljubljana, with a hands-on evening of printing on textile using carved wooden blocks.

Everyone brought along a garment they wanted to make their own. With carved wooden blocks, textile paint and a lot of patience, the participants built their own compositions from traditional motifs, pressing each block carefully onto the fabric and turning plain clothes into one-of-a-kind pieces.
It was a relaxed, creative evening of trying things out, swapping ideas and learning from one another. Instead of buying something ready-made, everyone left wearing something they had made themselves.
