Turkish language course in Ljubljana
Thirty teaching hours across fifteen Thursday evenings, in a group of no more than six people. Taught in person at Rimska cesta 2b, from 3 September to 17 December 2026.

A group small enough to speak in
Group size decides how much Turkish you actually produce. With six people around the table, everyone speaks in every lesson, errors are corrected while they are still fresh, and the teacher sets the pace by the people in the room rather than by an average.
More speaking time
Fewer participants means more minutes of Turkish out of your own mouth in every session.
Individual attention
The teacher knows where each person struggles and returns to it, lesson after lesson.
Practical material
Listening, dialogue and everyday situations, alongside the grammar that holds them together.
Extra groups when needed
If interest exceeds six people, we open another group instead of enlarging this one.

Three modules.
Take all of them, or one.
The programme is divided into three modules of ten teaching hours each, so you can commit to the full thirty hours or start with a single module and continue from there.

Module one
The first five meetings of the programme, from early September to the beginning of October.
Module two
Five meetings through October and into November, building on the first block.
Module three
The closing five meetings, from mid-November to the final class on 17 December.

Depending on how many people take part, we are planning a New Year dinner for course participants only: traditional dishes, the flavours behind half the vocabulary you will have learned, and an evening to close the term together.

Before you register
When and where does the Turkish course take place?
Classes run every Thursday at 17:00 at Rimska cesta 2b, 1000 Ljubljana, from 3 September to 17 December 2026. Each meeting lasts two teaching hours. There is no class on 29 October because of the autumn school holidays.
How many people are in a group?
Six at most. If more people register than we can fit, we open an additional group rather than adding a seventh person to an existing one.
Can I pay for one module instead of the whole course?
Yes. Each ten-hour module costs €75 and you can continue with the next one afterwards. The full thirty-hour programme costs €180, which is €45 less than buying the three modules separately.
Is the course right for my level of Turkish?
Write to info@mkdia.org and tell us what you have studied so far. We will let you know how the group is placed and which module suits you best.

Send an email to info@mkdia.org or call 070 479 341 before 27 August 2026, stating whether you want the full programme or a single module. We will confirm your place and the payment details.
Is the New Year dinner included in the fee?
The dinner is planned as an extra for course participants and depends on how many people take part. We will confirm the arrangements with the group during the autumn.
