Last weekend on Sunday we had an intercultural hike to the beautiful nearby hill Rašica with our volunteers and friends.
We packed our bags with food and coffee and headed to the top of the hill to have a nice conversation on the way and at the top.
We were together with our kids and it was also an intergenerational meeting for us. We were more than 25 people from Turkey and Slovenia.
For many of our volunteers, it was also a great opportunity to practice their Slovenian with our local friends.
Hiking is a very big part of Slovenian culture so we also pay special attention to hiking kind of activities in our association to have more dialogue with locals and among us and integrate ourselves into Slovenian society.
