On 1st July, together with our local partners ADRA Slovenia and the Cultural Association Gmajna, we presented our project BODE+!

Launched in 2023, the BODE+ project aims to support democratic advocacy for rights and integration in Slovenia.

After several years of field work, personal interviews and focus groups with people with migration experience and contributions from Slovenian experts, we have prepared 12 proposals to present to the relevant authorities in order to improve the learning of Slovenian and facilitate the integration of adult migrants.

These proposals aim at improving Slovenian language courses.

On Nova24TV, we discussed the goals of our project, our views on Slovenia and Slovenians, and what we can do for a more inclusive, solidarity-based and peaceful society.

Our interviews were also published in newspapers Dnevnik and Delo.

Intercultural dialogue is the best guarantee for a more just, sustainable and peaceful world. As Robert Alan says, we at the Association for Intercultural Dialogue believe that learning the local language for newcomers is crucial for building a peaceful society and sustainable integration.
