Iftar dinners in 2025 – 2nd week

Ramadan is the Islamic month of fasting. The Intercultural Dialogue Association is proud to present a several-year-old tradition of open iftars. This year, we are also active by organizing iftars in the premises of the associations we work with and in the homes of Turkish families, where we invite guests from different cultural backgrounds.

In the second week, we were very active. We organized many iftars. The time to break the fast at this time of year comes a little later each day, as the days get longer and the nights get shorter. Our guests joined us for traditional Ramadan dishes prepared by our volunteers of the Association MKD.

At the iftar at Cene Štupar, we were also joined by a radio journalist from the First Programme of RTV Slovenia. She responded kindly to our invitation and also did some interviews at the iftar dinner.

On March 14, we hosted representatives of the Mozaik Association.
On March 16th, we organized an iftar for our Muslim friends. The guests gathered are originally from 10 different countries, from Turkey, Bosnia, India, Egypt, Syria and Sudan, among others.
