Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi Memorial Programme – Maribor
On the evening of 25 November, together with our partners Razcvet Zavesti (Ljubljana) and the association Vagant (Maribor), we organized the Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi Remembrance Programme in Maribor, which met with great interest.
The event started with an inspiring presentation by researcher and author Viktorija Kos, who has been researching the life and work of Mevlana. The evening was then enriched by Slovenian oud master Marko Korošec and Slovak ney virtuoso Lukaš Nemeth, creating a truly cross-cultural musical experience.
At the end of the program, believing that “the shortest way to the heart is through the stomach”, we offered the participants the opportunity to taste traditional Turkish delicacies.
