At the beginning of the month of February, we started a new semester of the Slovenian language conversation club for foreigners.
In the summer semester, we continue with the intermediate groups. Due to demand among new candidates, we have opened an additional morning session on Wednesdays. The remaining two groups will continue in the afternoon.

Almost all of the existing members of the conversation club are staying with us in the new season, and with the new participants we have practically filled all the places in the groups. In our conversation club, Slovenian is spoken by foreign speakers from Russia, Ukraine, England, Turkey, Sudan, Egypt, Palestine, Serbia, Scotland, and Malta.

At the first meeting, we introduced ourselves again and got to know each other, and at the second meeting we talked about Slovenian culture. The participants shared how they spent the national cultural holiday on February 8, and some also visited galleries and museums in Ljubljana. We also talked about Slovenian folk tales and compared them with the folk traditions from the countries of our club members.

All spots in the groups are currently filled. If you would like to join us, please send us a message. We can add you to the waiting list. You can read more about the conversation club in the past year HERE.
