As Medkulturni Dialog we organized a trip on Prešeren day and we have visited one of the most important towns in Slovenian history with more than 20 of our members and friends. Yes, you got it right, it is Žirovnica.
This is our first visit to Žirovnica and the first time we walked on the cultural heritage road with our members. After finding out that this town has changed Slovenian history we felt sorry for the reason we didn’t come here before.
There was perfect sunny weather and the cultural heritage path was very well organized it is such a pleasure to see many important historical figures in such a small area. It was one of the best 8th of February for us.
We thank the municipality of Žirovnica for their effort in the culture. We also thank our members and friends to join us on our walk during the Slovenian Cultural Holiday.
