He is a 24-year-old Slovenian-American from Boca Raton, Florida, USA.
He lived here in Slovenia from 2017โ2019 to learn Slovenian and connect with his family.
He says: I sold my car and bought a 1-way ticket to Slovenia in September 2023, and I plan on living here indefinitely. Pretty much God told me to go. The American (specifically South Florida) materialistic lifestyle wasnโt working for me. Though Slovenia has less โmoney and opportunityโ, there are many things that money canโt buy: fresh air, healthy food, clean water, health, friends, love, and peace of mind.
He feels like there are more opportunities to make lifelong friends, as he seems to fit in better here.
He is a certified A&P Technician, which means he is authorized to work on American Aircraft. He fixed private jets while he was studying. He worked in private jet sales. After that, he worked in an engine shop repairing turbine engines for all major airlines.
Currently, he is starting a job repairing electric wheelchairs for the disabled.
He loves anything in nature: camping, backpacking, hiking, canoeing, etc. He also enjoys the arts: playing music, writing, drawing, painting, etc. Mostly he hangs out with friends and his family.
We listened to the story of Joseph and his experiences in Slovenia in Enolonฤnica for an hour while we were listening to 2 nice songs from the playlist of Josef.
Enjoy!
