Conversation club in Slovene for foreign speakers: New semester.
We’re announcing a new semester of the conversation club! We’ll start in the first week of October 2026.
The group is intended for non-native speakers of Slovenian who have already reached an A2/B1 level.
Registration deadline for new members: September 4, 2026
Start of the semester: October 6/7, 2026
Duration: 12 weekly sessions (90 minutes)
Expected end of the semester: January 19/20, 2027
The requirement for joining is a certificate confirming that you passed the basic-level (A2/B1) exam in 2026. New members without a certificate must successfully complete an interview with the conversation group mentor in order to participate in the new season.
Interview dates (in person at the MKD premises) will be available on September 2 and 3, and September 23 and 24.
The number of places in each group is limited (7). Priority in registration will be given to returning members. Depending on the number of applicants and successfully accepted members, we will form 3–4 groups.
The planned days of the week for the groups are Tuesday and Wednesday. Breaks: autumn holidays (October 27/28) and the second half of December. If an individual session has to be cancelled due to force majeure or illness of the program facilitator, a substitute session will be arranged.
In the new semester, we will also invite you to other activities and excursions organized by the Intercultural Dialogue Association. You will learn more details at the first official meeting.
At the end of the semester, participants will receive a certificate of attendance provided they have attended at least 75% of the sessions (9 out of 12 sessions).
