St. Nicholas Day, the feast day (December 6) of St. Nicholas, the 4th-century bishop of Myra. St. Nicholas is for sailors and children, and among many other groups, was noted for his generosity. It is the feast day of Nicholas of Myra, with particular regard to his reputation as a bringer of gifts. Some countries celebrate St. Nicholas Day on December 5th, some on Sunday, December 6, 2020, and on 19 December in Eastern Christian countries using the old church Calendar.
We at the Intercultural Dialog Center wish you a happy St. Nicholas Day. Let the children keep being enthusiastic about the gifts that St. Nicholas will give them.
