Yesterday, under the roof of the EU project, which we started last November, we gathered to talk about social inclusion from different perspectives with the method of biographical learning via Zoom with our project partners.
We named our project “Let’s Pop the Bubbles” because we think that we all live in our bubbles in our lives. The bubbles we create from the beginning of our lives are generally with the help of prejudices. The only way to see the outer world of our bubbles is by meeting new people and living on the edge of our red lines with them.
That’s why we are trying to build strong, trustworthy bridges between Turkish and Slovenian people with all the facts, such as historical facts, differences in beliefs, and cultures.
The point of the project is to have as much intercultural and interreligious dialogue as possible and together get insights into how to be more active citizens and how to get involved in the society in which we are living.
So, we will be trying to pop some more bubbles with the help of scientific methods during the next 1.5 years.
