Saša Dončić
Saša played basketball as a forward or shooting guard. He was active as a player from 1993 to 2010. He then devoted himself to coaching others.
Playing career
Club
He started at Ilirija in Ljubljana, continued in Postojna and Idrija, and made his breakthrough with good performances at Pivovarna Laško in 1996 and 1999. He then played for a bunch of clubs, including Krka and Slovenija, and then for one season, 2007-08, for Olimpija, where he won the Slovenian championship title.
National team
In 2004, he played two games for Slovenia in the 2005 European Championship qualifiers. These were his only appearances for the national team.
