At a time when the world is shaken by wars, violence, and growing uncertainty, meetings between people of different faiths and cultures become all the more valuable.
In the Intercultural Dialogue Association, we recently organized our traditional Ramadan iftar, where we hosted friends from the Jewish Cultural Center Ljubljana, including its president Robert Waltl and members of his team. We gathered with the shared intention of strengthening interfaith dialogue, understanding, and respect in our community.

Although we as an association are deeply saddened by the wars, suffering, and divisions among people around the world, we believe that relationships between members of different religions must remain a space of humanity, dialogue, and mutual respect, regardless of political circumstances and conflicts.
Such gatherings remind us that even through small steps—an open table, conversation, and a shared meal—we can contribute to reducing social polarization and preserving space for dialogue and compassion.
Our sincere thanks to Robert B. Waltl and the entire team of the Jewish Cultural Center Ljubljana for accepting our invitation. May this meeting be a small but sincere contribution to peace among people and a symbolic, living prayer for the reduction of pain and wars in the world.
