International Day of Clean Air

➡️Prepare to breathe easier on International Clean Air Day ♻️🌍- 7 September.

An estimated 7️⃣ million people worldwide die each year from diseases related to unclean air. According to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, 9️⃣ out of 🔟 people regularly breathe polluted air.
Why clean air is important⁉️

According to the World Health Organisation, breathing cleaner air can reduce your risk of stroke, heart disease, lung cancer, and respiratory diseases such as asthma.

How do I know what the level of air pollution is in my area❓
Look in the newspaper or online for the daily air quality index for your region, usually marked in orange and red🔴 to indicate the most dangerous levels.
Ljubljana’s air quality is fairly good/green with 30 points. 🟢
The worst air quality in Slovenia is in Nova Gorica at the moderate/yellow🟡 level with 60 points.
