Art Advocacy Workshops

In collaboration with ADRA Slovenia, Zavod APIS and KD Gmajna, we are organizing a series of free workshops in February and March, as part of the exhibition “Finding Home: Voices of Belonging and Change.”

Workshops are here to support artists and creatives in using art as a tool for advocacy.
Artists may apply for one or more workshops. Two workshops have already taken place.

On February 13th, we hosted a workshop ” Poetry & Music as Advocacy.” We explored how music and poetry can shape narratives of belonging and social justice. Guests at the event were: El Henry & Ali R Taha.

On February 14th, there was a workshop “Painting & Photography as Visual Advocacy.” We had the opportunity to learn how visual storytelling can challenge perceptions and create impact. Workshop was led by Abdelhakim Asnabla.
